Adult Programs
Connecting With Each Other and With God
Do you connect with God via making deep connections with other people? Or, do you find genuine connections with other people by exploring your mutual connection to God? Wherever you are on your faith journey, you will find meaningful companionship and thoughtful conversation in our adult program offerings.
Questioning Faith
Sunday morning faith formation for adults
Each week, starting at 11:15 a.m. after our Sunday service, adults are invited to a 45-minute forum featuring a book study, guest speaker, or topic discussion.
Past series have included: Episcopalianism 101; book study of We Cry Justice: Reading the Gospel with the Poor People’s Campaign; and book study of This Here Flesh: Spirituality, Liberation, & the Stories That Make Us.
Parents’ Support Group
Let’s pray we make it through the week!
From time to time our priest hosts a gathering for our community’s parents while the kids attend their own programming. Sit with other parents to celebrate, commiserate, love, and pray for each other. Parenting is hard at every stage. Here, we want to remind our parents that they aren’t doing it alone.
Sacred Space/Sacred Study
Monthly, after the Community Meal
On the second Wednesday of the month, our whole community gathers to eat together. After the meal, we split into “age groups.” While the kids attend youth programming, the adults enjoy an hour of quiet time to engage in a spiritual practice selected each month by our priest. Sometimes it involves coloring.
Men’s Group
We put the ‘fellow’ in fellowship
Meeting on the first Tuesday of the month, the Men’s Group provides a safe, sincere and informal gathering space for men to grow emotionally, spiritually and socially. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, usually out at a local pub. Everyone is welcome to pull up a chair, grab a beverage of choice, and see where our conversations lead us that evening.
