The Cozy Quilt Collective (CQC) is ramping up for another season of sewing and camaraderie. Rumor has it there are a lot of quilts to be made, so we need to get a move on.
The CQC will meet every Tuesday evening from the beginning of March to the end of May, or whenever all the quilts are finished. You do not need to come every Tuesday evening, and you don’t need to have any sewing skills. There are plenty of non-sewing tasks to go around. If you want to learn to sew straight seams, we can teach you! Also, if you have a sewing machine we’d love to have you join in. Many hands make quick work and a lot of laughs.
We’re also looking for donations of the following items:
Fabric: Cotton or cotton/poly blend with the primary colors of white, black, orange, yellow, and purple. Prints or solids are welcome.
Thread: Embroidery thread in any color.
Misc: Large eye sewing needles and needle threaders, Cutting mats (3), 18-24 inch rulers (2), rotary cutters (3), and small scissors (3)
