Prayer is one way to touch that Divine Source of all that Is, which we call God, or Jesus, or Holy Spirit.
There are a zillion ways to pray.
In Advent 2017, St Mary’s issued an Advent Prayer Challenge, and as part of that made these sweet little videos. People were asked to spontaneously answer “Why Do I Pray?” and as you can see, there are as many answers as there are people.
Now, as Episcopalians we are a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, and the one thing that binds us most closely together is our Common Prayer. For the Episcopal Church, that is found in our 1979 Book of Common Prayer. Here’s a nifty video put out by our friends at Trinity Episcopal Church in NYC. Video
