Outreach

St. Mary’s support for KIVA continues

In 2021, loans made by St. Mary’s throughout the world through KIVA totaled $3550, plus $215 to support the services provided to the people by the KIVA organization. As KIVA receives loan repayments, these dollars go into St. Mary’s KIVA account. When that account reaches approximately $1000, new loans are made by St. Marians to other people looking to start or expand a business or wanting to make improvements to make their living environment healthier (i.e., toilets). If you’d like more information, contact Paulette Briese or Julie Thomas.

Two ways for our new rector to get to know us!

First way: Let Paulette Briese know if you’d like a new name badge. Info needed: First & Last name, pronouns you prefer and “do you want a rainbow pin on your name badge”.  paulettegb@comcast.net

Second way: We haven’t put out a new St. Mary’s Directory since 2018 and there have been many changes since then. In preparation for a new Directory and to give our new rector accurate info, please send address, phone number and email changes to paulettegb@comcast.net. Thanks.

To brighten someone’s day…

Would you like to bring a smile to someone’s face? Brighten their day? This opportunity may be for you! The Worship Team is looking for a couple people who would like to bring an Easter plant to some of the St. Mary’s parishioners. For some people, it might simply be delivering a plant and having a little visit. For others, it might also include taking communion to them. Susan would provide training for anyone who would like to do this. Don’t be shy!!  If you’d like to deliver plants, let me (paulettegb@comcast.net ) or Susan know! If you’d like to take communion to someone, same story! Let Paulette or Susan know.

covid 19 update

This page may not reflect St. Mary’s current programming, as we continue to emerge from the pandemic. As of June 2021, for example, we have both in-person and Zoom options for attending our Sunday 10:00 a.m. worship service.

Find the current status of all St. Mary’s programming and community activities on THIS PAGE. Join us!

Our decisions about how to conduct activities at St. Mary’s are guided by our belief that it is our duty to care for one another as children of God, as well as by guidance from the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota.
