DESCRIPTION:The Cozy Quilt Collective (CQC) is ramping up for another season of sewing and camaraderie. Rumor has it there are a lot of quilts to be made\, so we need to get a move on. \nThe CQC will meet every Tuesday evening from the beginning of March to the end of May\, or whenever all the quilts are finished. You do not need to come every Tuesday evening\, and you don’t need to have any sewing skills. There are plenty of non-sewing tasks to go around. If you want to learn to sew straight seams\, we can teach you! Also\, if you have a sewing machine we’d love to have you join in. Many hands make quick work and a lot of laughs. \nWe’re also looking for donations of the following items: \nFabric: Cotton or cotton/poly blend with the primary colors of white\, black\, orange\, yellow\, and purple. Prints or solids are welcome.\nThread: Embroidery thread in any color.\nMisc: Large eye sewing needles and needle threaders\, Cutting mats (3)\, 18-24 inch rulers (2)\, rotary cutters (3)\, and small scissors (3) \nIf you’d like to join the CQC for our quilt making adventure\, have items you can donate\, or questions contact Carol Anne Wall at carol_anne_t_wall@msn.com or catch her at Coffee Hour.

DESCRIPTION:2:00 pm – Procession launching from several churches at University and Dale \n2:30 pm – Worship and Program at Minnesota State Capitol Mall \nOn Palm Sunday thousands of Christians across denomination\, race\, and place will stand up to the rise of authoritarianism and white Christian nationalism as we affirm the core of our faith: to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves. On the day Christians celebrate as the first “Palm Sunday”\, Jesus entered Jerusalem in opposition to the greed\, cruelty\, and oppression of the Roman Empire on a donkey\, a symbol of a just\, humble leader who cares for the poor\, the hungry\, the sick\, and the stranger. Register for the event here! \nThrough these last couple of months\, the people of Minnesota have powerfully embodied our call to love our neighbors\, and as Christian faith leaders\, we are called to proclaim love over cruelty and hatred in the public square! SUMMARY:Cozy Quilt Collective 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Cozy Quilt Collective (CQC) is ramping up for another season of sewing and camaraderie. Rumor has it there are a lot of quilts to be made\, so we need to get a move on. \nThe CQC will meet every Tuesday evening from the beginning of March to the end of May\, or whenever all the quilts are finished. You do not need to come every Tuesday evening\, and you don’t need to have any sewing skills. There are plenty of non-sewing tasks to go around. If you want to learn to sew straight seams\, we can teach you! Also\, if you have a sewing machine we’d love to have you join in. Many hands make quick work and a lot of laughs. \nWe’re also looking for donations of the following items: \nFabric: Cotton or cotton/poly blend with the primary colors of white\, black\, orange\, yellow\, and purple. Prints or solids are welcome.\nThread: Embroidery thread in any color.\nMisc: Large eye sewing needles and needle threaders\, Cutting mats (3)\, 18-24 inch rulers (2)\, rotary cutters (3)\, and small scissors (3) \nIf you’d like to join the CQC for our quilt making adventure\, have items you can donate\, or questions contact Carol Anne Wall at carol_anne_t_wall@msn.com or catch her at Coffee Hour.
