This year, we have reorganized our Sunday School program to fit the needs of families in the midst of a pandemic. There are three options for families. You get to choose what works best for your family.
- Zoom Sunday School: In our Zoom Sunday School, children pre-school through sixth grade are welcome. We start with a question of the day, a song and story. We use the Whirl Lectionary curriculum which has some digital components that lend themselves well to zoom! Our program is non-cumulative, so they can drop in and not feel like they’ve joined the party mid-stream.
- You Tube Sunday School: We recognize that this is a challenging time, so we created a Sunday school lesson that mirrors the service and can be watched at your leisure. To see a You Tube Sunday School, click here.
- Parent-Led Sunday School: Each week we send out two options for a parent-led Sunday School, so you have the tools to meet your child’s needs.
Special Children’s Events
Every Christmas we hold the Christmas Pageant, and children are welcome to participate at any age. This year, the Pageant will be online!
In a typical year we also hold a Children’s Easter Vigil every Holy Saturday, where some older children re-enact bible stories and we celebrate the first Easter Eucharist. Last year, we did our Children’s Easter Vigil online. Check it out!
