Welcome to our new neighbors and building tenants. You have probably wondered who is using the other office. We had been looking for over a year to find a suitable group to rent the space, and more fully utilize our building. Beginning in late January, Allay moved in and have been a wonderful addition to our community.
They will soon be leading an Adult Education to share more of their ministry, and will provide workshop for great detail. Below is a welcome note from Anne and Zac. Stop by and meet them.
Allay Care Services
In case you’ve been wondering what ‘those two people’ working in the old rector’s office do!
Allay Care Services is a nonprofit organization helping people talk about and document their
end of life care wishes. By facilitating a series of conversations about personal values and
preferences, Allay Care Services guides people in creating a CareDecisions Portfolio,
documenting their wishes in their own words.
Our name can be traced back to an ancient word for ‘not heavy.’ So much about death and
dying is met with heaviness. While grief and sorrow are certainly not light, Allay is here to help
the people we serve ease their fears and replace heavy burdens with clarity.
Zac Willette is the founder of Allay, lead facilitator and a Board-certified chaplain.
Anne Archbold is a facilitator and Licensed Independent Social Worker.
