Here’s what people say they feel after the 10:30 service:
Humbled, challenged, strengthened, renewed, energized, can’t wait to go into the world to make a difference, accepted, full of love and desire to spread that love to others, prepared, ready to go out into the world, eager to take action, connected with God and each other, grateful, peaceful, relaxed, singing a hymn in my head, remembering the laughter, elated, full of joy, better!
The 10:30 service worships from the Rite II service in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, with additions from Enriching Our Worship, as authorized for use by the General Convention of the Episcopal Church. Formal without being stuffy, you will be warmly welcomed.
We are formed by the weekly practice of prayer, music, and our Baptismal Covenant. We invite all to God’s table for Eucharist, it is God’s table and not ours, and all are welcome. Leadership of the service is shared with clergy, lay adults and children.
All are invited to join the singing of hymns, accompanied by the choir and the use of organ, piano, and occasionally the children’s choir or the bell choir. We are fortunate to have the music led by Bjorn Gustafson. For more information about the Magnificat (Adult) choir, the Choristers (children’s) choir, the handbell ringers, Lessons and Carols, or the children’s musical, visit here.
Children are welcome, although there is nursery care if you would like to have your infant or toddler tended to during the service. For more information about the nursery, visit here.
