Movie & Discussion “13th”. The award-winning documentary, 13th, explores the intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the United States. It is titled after the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which freed the slaves and prohibited slavery (unless as punishment for a crime).
Showings are on the second floor, in the St. Mary’s Room, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 1895 Laurel Avenue, St. Paul.

#2 Showing: Monday, July 31st, 7-8:45p. Movie and short discussion.
#3 Follow-up discussion (no showing): Monday August 7th. For all who have seen the movie and would like further discussion and implications going forward.
