Wednesday Night Youth Group

Grades: 7th- 12th

Every Wednesday, 6-8:30 pm during the school year

Youth Room (2nd floor --end of the hall)

Youth Group is a casual but structured gathering in which the youth reflect on what's going on in their lives and in our communities, and where the two meet. Organized around themes, a typical night includes some kind of educational discussion, speaker or film, a service project in the community, some silly fun, and weekly meditative prayer.

The topics that the youth group will be focusing on this year include: Education; Human Rights with an emphasis on Poverty; Environment with an emphasis on Food Shortage; Relationships with an emphasis on GLBT issues; Race with an emphasis on politics; Religion with an emphasis on different denominations of Christianity; and Intergenerational Relationships.

New people are welcome at each and every meeting-so stop on by!
