Sunday Youth Blasts
Well, the surveys are in, and even though it seems in theory that 9am Sunday mornings is a good time for Sunday school for teenagers, in real life it's just not. 
Many stay home catching much needed beauty sleep, and the ones who don't,wish they were. So, we will be holding 5 Blasts on Sunday afternoons scattered throughout the year. will be fun and interesting times for 7-12 grade people where (after a nice lunch) we will cover a number of classic topics, from scripture to prayer to social justice to church history to liturgy.
These will be essential for those 17 and 18 year olds interested in being Confirmed in the spring. Confirmation is a Rite of Passage into adulthood.
Sessions will be led by Sarah Ann Weaver, MiaLisa McFarland, and the Rev. LeeAnne Watkins.
Each session is from 11:30-3pm
